Localisation

Localisation, or L10N, stands for the adaptation of content to a particular, i.e. “local” sales or usage area.

To ensure that your foreign-language documentation and websites hit the mark in foreign markets, we adapt the translations to the target country’s specific linguistic and prevailing cultural conditions:
The date, time, currency and temperature specifications as well as units of measurement and conversion values valid in the area are observed; fonts and character sets are adapted;
and, in terms of style, we let the local business and social conventions of the target country guide our expertise, always taking culture-specific features into account.
We can also advise you on the selection of colour palettes and images.
That way, you meet all the sensibilities and linguistic-cultural expectations of your target group in one harmonious process.
